Himachal Pradesh University conducted an all India combined entrance test (MCQ) for admission to BAMS and BHMS courses in RG Govt. PG Ayurvedic College, Paprola, (Kangra) and Solan Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Pvt.) , Kumarhati ; (Solan) . The Test will be held on 13 / 07 / 2014 (Sunday) at Shimla, Mandi, Hamirpur, Dharamsala Examination Centres. All eligible candidates apply online through H.P. University Websites .
Starting Date for filing online Application = 12 / 06 / 2014
Last Date for filing online Application = 03 / 07 / 2014
Date For Entrance Test = 13 / 07 / 2014
Total No. of Seats = 125 , For BAMS = 50, For BHMS = 75.
For BAMS Course = 41 seats will be filled up from eligible Bonafide Himachali Candidates ,
Under Group - I = 2 seats are reserved for Govt. of India Nominees (Allocated to the state of J and K ).
Under Group - II = One seat will be reserved for Malaysian Nationals and one for ICCR sponsored candidate.
Under Group - III = Remaining 5 seats shall be filled up on All India Basis in which Bonafide Himachali who have applies under Group- I shall also be considered.
For BHMS Course = 47 seats will be filled up under state Quota and 28 seats under Management Quota .
Education Qualification
For BAMS Course = All eligible candidates should have passed 10 + 2 from H.P. Board of School Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board / University established by law in India with 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (in case of SC / ST / OBC 40% marks) and must have passed English as an elective Subject.
For BHMS Course = All eligible candidates should have passed 10 + 2 from H.P. Board of School Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board / University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology ) and English as an elective Subject.
The Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and whose results are still awaited can also apply.
Payment of Fees = For General and Other Categories = Rs. 1600/-
For SC / ST Categories = Rs.800/ - at any Branch of Sate Bank of India by computer generated Callahan / Net Banking or through credit / Debit cards of any Banks.
Age Limit
For BAMS Course = The minimum age of the candidates = 17 years.
The maximum age of the candidates = 25 years as on 31 / 12 / 2014.
For BHMS Course = The candidates must have attained the age of 17 years as on 31 / 12 / 2014.
